C Company, 116th Infantry Reg.

On D-day, June 6th 1944, Bertier B. Hawks led the men of C Company, 116th Infantry Regiment, 29th Infantry Division into combat. Reports say that he was killed shortly after D-day however the date is uncertain. When I find out more about Captain Hawks I will post it here.
